Russian troops will observe ceasefire for Easter if Ukraine reciprocates, - Russian Defense Ministry
The Russian Defense Ministry has stated that Russian troops will observe the ceasefire on Easter, provided that Kyiv observes it.
This is stated in a statement by the Russian Defense Ministry, Censor.NET reports.
Thus, it is noted that the commander of the Joint Forces Grouping, Army General Valery Gerasimov, instructed all commanders of the groups in the "SMO" zone to cease fire and conduct hostilities from 6:00 pm Moscow time on April 19 to 00:00 am on April 21.
The statement also says that the ceasefire is being introduced for humanitarian purposes and will be observed by the Russian Joint Forces Group provided that Ukraine mutually observes it.
As a reminder, today, April 19, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin allegedly announced an Easter truce.
