Russian MiG-31 fighter jet crashed in Kamchatka

After the MiG-31 crew ejected themselves, their location was identified by an Ilyushin-38 reconnaissance plane, which picked up the signal from the distress beacon.
Both pilots of the MiG-31 fighter jet that earlier crashed in Kamchatka were evacuated to the Yelizovo airdrome by the search and rescue service of the Eastern Military District.
Doctors briefly examined the rescued pilots to conclude there was no risk to their lives.
