Today’s massive Russian attack on Ukraine is yet another indication that the Russians are rejecting diplomacy and peace efforts.
This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, according to Censor.NET.
Attack on Ukraine
"Nearly 500 drones and cruise missiles attacked Ukraine. At least one person was killed, and others were injured. In Obukhiv, a drone struck a residential building," the report states.
Russia's response to peace efforts
Sybiga emphasized that terrorist Russia is deliberately carrying out attacks in broad daylight—to maximize civilian casualties and destruction.
"This is how Moscow is responding to Ukraine’s proposals for an Easter truce—with brutal attacks. Russian terrorists reject diplomacy and peace efforts. They must receive a strong and just response," the minister added.
What led up to
According to the Air Force, more than 400 drones have been detected in Ukrainian airspace, as well as Tu-95 and Tu-160MS aircraft taking off. Cruise missiles are present in Ukrainian airspace.
