President of Ukraine allows foreigners serving in National Guard

The law specifies the legal basis of the activities and functions of the National Guard of Ukraine, governs its organization, general order for the National Guard detachments and their interaction with law enforcement agencies, local authorities, and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The law also regulates the size of the National Guard of Ukraine. The commander of the National Guard is appointed and dismissed by the president on the recommendation of the Minister of Internal Affairs under this law.
The law as well gives the right to foreigners and stateless persons who lawfully stay in the territory of Ukraine to perform military service in the National Guard of Ukraine on a voluntary basis (under the contract). These cases are governed by the Law of Ukraine "on the Military Duty and Military Service."
The law regulates in detail the rights of military personnel of the National Guard and its respective functions.
