All state-owned agricultural enterprises to be put up for privatization by end of 2016, - Minister Pavlenko

Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Oleksii Pavlenko intends to have all state-owned enterprises of agricultural sector privatized by the end of this year.

As reported by Censor.NET, he said to RBC-Ukraine after the government's report at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on economic policy.

"As for the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, my position is the following - zero state-owned enterprises by the end of the year, complete privatization," Pavlenko said.

Among other priorities for 2016, the official named simplification of land lease, opening of new markets, elimination of dependence on Russia, and extension of deregulation.
