PGO refers inquiry into Buzyna murder to Odesa police
The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has referred the investigation into the murder of journalist Oles Buzyna to Odesa police.
The press service of the Odesa region prosecution authorities told Interfax-Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
"The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine entrusted the Main Investigation Directorate of the National Police in the Odesa region to carry out the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings initiated under Item 12 of the Part 2 of the Article 115 (murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," the press service said.
The agency has not disclosed any additional details.
As reported, Oles Buzyna was killed in Kyiv April 16, 2015, in the courtyard of an apartment building, which he lived in. Two Kyiv residents Andrii Medvedko and Denys Polishchuk, suspected in the murder, are currently under house arrest.
