Hijacker of EgyptAir plane arrested, - Cyprus Foreign Ministry
The man who for no known motives hijacked an EgyptAir plane Tuesday morning has been arrested.
This was announced by Cyprus Foreign Ministry, Censor.NET informs citing The Guardian.Information was also confirmed by EgyptAir on its Twitter and spokesperson for Cyprus government NikosChristodoulides.
All of the hostages have been released. No more details are available.Official sources at EGYPTAIR declared the release of all the hostages and the arrest of the hijacker. #EgyptAir

The motives behind the hijack, as well as the man's identity, are not yet known.
As reported earlier, in the morning of March 29 an unknown man hijacked a plane of EgyptAir traveling from Alexandria to Cairo. The man was wearing an explosives belt, possibly a fake one. The plane landed in the airport of Larnaka. The man had voiced no demands. The hijack is possibly caused by personal motives and might involve the man's ex wife, who resides in Cyprus.
