399 people sought medical aid in Izmail with possible poisoning

As reported by Censor.NET citing the State Emergency Service's press office, 260 people (including 185 children) admitted to the hospitals of the city as at 7 a.m. June 20.

139 people (including 56 children) have been dismissed (transferred to outpatient treatment).

The presumptive diagnosis of the victims is acute gastroenterocolitis.

Earlier, the reovirus-like agent's (rotavirus) presence in the tap water was named as the cause of mass poisoning of people in the city of Izmail in the Odesa region.
