The Defense Procurement Agency (DPA) has signed contracts to supply 1,500 motorcycles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was announced by Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, according to Censor.NET.

According to the defense minister, this is three times more than in all of last year. The entire shipment of vehicles will be delivered to the military later this year.
"Mobility on the front lines directly affects the speed with which combat missions are carried out and the safety of military personnel.
Motorcycles remain one of the most in-demand vehicles on the front lines, alongside pickup trucks. They provide soldiers with high mobility and help them quickly carry out missions in conditions of complex logistics and rough terrain," Fedorov explained.
Six companies participated in the motorcycle procurement. The initiative resulted in savings of nearly 12 million hryvnias, which will be used to provide additional support to the military, including the purchase of other necessary vehicles.
"The largest procurement of 155-mm long-range artillery rounds was carried out using the same principle. Competition among bidders allowed us to secure better terms for the state and further strengthen the military’s supply capabilities.
The goal is to gradually transition to tender procedures for all defense procurements," he added.
