One of the production sites of the drone manufacturer General Cherry was hit as a result of an enemy attack. Employees were not injured, and the enterprise continues to operate.
This was stated by the company’s co-founder, Yaroslav Hryshyn, according to Forbes.
Hryshyn stressed that the safety of people remains the company’s priority and confirmed that there were no casualties among the staff.
The company is currently assessing the extent of the damage. At the same time, according to the co-founder, production processes did not stop, and the team is working in an enhanced mode.
The enterprise was prepared for such risks and plans to restore the damaged facilities, Hryshyn noted. He emphasized that material losses are not critical compared with the safety of employees.
General Cherry is a Ukrainian defense tech company founded by brothers Yaroslav and Stanislav Hryshyn in 2023. It specializes in the development and mass production of strike FPV kamikaze drones and interceptor drones. Its product portfolio also includes Bullet anti-Shahed interceptors and General Cherry AIR reconnaissance drones.
The enterprise produces about 50,000 drones per month and declares its goal of supplying its products to the entire front line. As of early 2026, the company employed more than 600 people, about 20% of whom were veterans.
As a reminder, Ukrainian miltech company General Cherry and Croatian drone manufacturer Orqa launched serial production of European components in Ukraine.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukrainian engineers had created a new power supply system for fixed-wing drones that increases flight range by more than 600% and enables operation in conditions where it was previously impossible.
