Attack on TCR in Lviv: 55-year-old Staff Sergeant Oleksandr Bodnar killed
In Lviv, 55-year-old Junior Sergeant Oleksandr Bodnar, a member of the TCR, was killed whilst on duty.
This was reported by the Mayor of Lviv, Andrii Sadovyi, on his Telegram channel, according to Censor.NET.
What is known about the deceased?
According to Sadovyi, he is survived by his son and parents.
"Law enforcement agencies must carry out all necessary investigative measures and establish all the circumstances of the tragedy. The perpetrator must face a just punishment in accordance with the law.
Violence against military personnel can never be justified. Such crimes must not go unpunished," emphasised the mayor.
What led up to this?
It was previously reported that a man fatally wounded a serviceman from the TCR in Lviv: a police officer fired at the attacker.
