The Defense Forces confirmed damage to the "Niobium" radar station and 18 UAV storage facilities near the Russian airfield in Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

According to Censor.NET, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this.

"According to the results of a follow-up analysis, it has been confirmed that on August 20, 2026, one 'Niobium' radar station and 18 storage facilities for UAVs were damaged in the vicinity of the 'Primorsko-Akhtarsk' airfield in the Krasnodar Krai of the Russian Federation," the statement reads.

What led up to this?

On the night of August 20, 2026, operators from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, as part of another deepstrike operation, carried out successful strikes against key military targets in Russia, the aggressor state. In particular, they struck enemy drone storage and launch sites at the Primorsko-Akhtarsk airfield.
