A fire broke out in the industrial zone of Ufa following a drone attack on the morning of 21 September 2026.
According to Censor.NET, the Telegram channel ASTRA reported this, citing eyewitnesses.
Initial details
It is reported that smoke rose above Ufa’s industrial zone in the north of the city following a drone attack and explosions.
Several Bashneft oil refineries are located in Ufa’s industrial zone, which have repeatedly come under drone attack.
Previous attacks on the region
- On 27 August, smoke rose above the ‘Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim’ oil refinery following a drone attack.
- On 5 August, the "Bashneft-Novoyl" plant was on fire following a drone attack.
- On 2 August, a fire broke out at the "Bashneft-UNPZ" following an attack.
- Following an attack on 1 August, the Bashneft-Ufaneftekhim oil refinery was on fire.
- Prior to this, strikes had been carried out in the industrial zone in early July and late June.
The "Novo-Aleksandrovka" gas distribution station is also located a few kilometres away.
