Russia attacked Poltava with "Banderol": infrastructure was hit
An explosion was heard in Poltava on the morning of September 21. The Russians attacked the city with "Banderole" loitering munitions.
According to Censor.NET, this information was reported by Vitalii Diakivnych, head of the Regional Military Administration, the Air Force, and local Telegram channels.
Around 10 a.m., the Air Force reported a "Banderol" loitering munition flying from the Sumy region toward the Poltava region. Later, Kateryna Yamshchykova, secretary of the Poltava City Council, reported explosions in the city.
"In the Poltava district, an enemy UAV was recorded striking a critical infrastructure facility. The attack caused a fire," Diakivnych added.
According to preliminary information, there were no injuries. However, the details are still being verified.

Throughout September 20 and on the morning of September 21, Russian troops attacked a number of regions in Ukraine using drones, missiles, aerial bombs, artillery, mortars, and multiple-launch rocket systems. The strikes resulted in fatalities, dozens of injuries, and significant damage to civilian infrastructure.
