Russia has launched massive attack on regions of Ukraine: there are fatalities and injuries. PHOTOS
On 20 September and in the morning of 21 September, Russian forces attacked a number of regions in Ukraine using drones, missiles, aerial bombs, artillery, mortars and multiple launch rocket systems. The strikes have resulted in fatalities, dozens of injuries and significant damage to civilian infrastructure.

Donetsk region: three dead and 12 injured
According to the Donetsk regional police, on 20 September, Russian forces carried out strikes on nine settlements in the region. Three people were killed and a further 12 were injured.
Kramatorsk was hit hardest, with one woman killed and a further 10 people injured. The Russians used, among other things, three KAB-250 aerial bombs, drones and artillery.
One person was killed in Andriivka. Another person was killed in Mykilske, which was attacked twice by FPV drones.
In Druzhkivka, two civilians were injured as a result of bomb and drone strikes.
In total, 52 civilian facilities were damaged, including 30 residential buildings.
Kharkiv region: eight people injured
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and 18 settlements in the region. According to local authorities, eight people were injured, reported Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.
The Russians used missiles, KAB bombs, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), ‘Geran-2’ and ‘Molniya’ strike drones, and FPV drones.
In Lozova, a 62-year-old man was injured, and two women suffered acute stress reactions. In Myrne, in the Shevchenkivska community, a 58-year-old man was wounded, and two more women suffered stress reactions.
A 63-year-old woman was also injured near Karasivka and a 38-year-old man near Borshchova.
The shelling damaged residential buildings, shops, warehouses and administrative buildings, petrol stations, vehicles, power lines and railway infrastructure. In the village of Orilka, around 50 pigs, 100 coypu and 100 chickens were killed.
Zaporizhzhia and the region: over a thousand strikes
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 1,003 strikes on 60 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. Eight people were injured as a result of attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia district, according to Ivan Fedorov, co-chair of the regional defence council.
The Russians carried out 19 air strikes, deployed 752 UAVs of various types, launched one strike using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and carried out 231 artillery barrages.
Among the targets were, in particular, Zaporizhzhia, Orikhiv, Stepnohirsk, Huliaipole and dozens of other settlements in the region.
Kherson region: seven people wounded
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked Kherson and more than 40 settlements in the region. The enemy used drones, artillery and aircraft, according to the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Seven people were injured as a result of the Russian aggression. Two high-rise blocks and six private houses were damaged. A church, a museum, a restaurant, a bank, an administrative building, a supermarket, a gas pipeline, a minibus and private cars were also damaged.
Chernihiv region: Russia struck with "Uragan" missiles, mortars and FPV drones
On 20 September, Russian troops attacked three border communities in the Chernihiv region — Novhorod-Siverska, Semenivka and Snovska. Semenivka and at least nine villages came under fire, Suspilne reported
The Russians used ‘Uragan’ multiple launch rocket systems, mortars and FPV drones – including fibre-optic-controlled drones – and dropped explosives from UAVs.
Four explosions were recorded in Semenivka, likely caused by 220 mm multiple launch rocket systems. As a result of a single strike on the town, a hangar belonging to a local agricultural firm was destroyed, and a further five hangars, a lorry, a tractor and a combine harvester were damaged. Cattle were injured.
Dnipropetrovsk region: 20-year-old woman injured
On the morning of 21 September, Russian forces attacked two districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region more than 10 times using drones, aerial bombs and artillery, according to the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.
In the Nikopol district, the district centre and the Marhanetsk and Chervonohryhorivska communities were targeted. An apartment block was damaged and a 20-year-old woman was injured. She was hospitalised with moderate injuries.
In the Synelnykivskyi district, a business premises, private homes and cars were damaged.
Mykolaiv region: equipment and a fence damaged
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops attacked the Mykolaiv region using Shahed-type strike UAVs and a guided aerial bomb. According to the Regional Military Administration, there were no casualties.
In the Bashtanka district, an FPV drone damaged the fence of a private house in Oleksandrivka.
In the Mykolaiv district, two tractors were damaged as a result of an FPV drone attack on Parutyne.
