The Air Force warned that a jet-powered UAV was heading towards the capital.
Explosions were subsequently heard in Kyiv.
Mayor Klitschko said that air defence forces were engaging enemy UAVs.
It later emerged that UAV debris had fallen on a car park in the Darnytskyi district. No fire broke out.
Background
- On the night of 22 September, the Russian invaders struck Kyiv. A five-storey residential building in the Dniprovskyi district was damaged in the attack, and four people were injured.
