Ukraine has secured $841 million from the World Bank under guarantees from the Canadian government. The government is allocating the funds to reimburse the state budget for pension payments.
Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi announced this on his Telegram channel, according to Censor.NET.
Pension funding with support from the World Bank and Canada
According to him, the funding was secured through the PEACE in Ukraine initiative under agreements reached in September.
"The total project volume has already reached $54.3 billion. This is the largest investment project in the history of the World Bank and one of the key mechanisms for supporting Ukraine’s financial stability," he explained.
