Enemy depot containing 152 mm artillery shells destroyed in Huliaipole – 7th Air Assault Corps. VIDEO
The Defence Forces destroyed a depot containing 152 mm artillery shells in Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia region.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the press centre of the 7th Air Assault Corps.
Tracking an ammunition truck and locating its shelter in Huliaipole
According to the report, adjacent units detected an ammunition truck moving through the city. They tracked the vehicle to a shelter in one of the hangars in Huliaipole.
"Less than three and a half hours after it was detected, pilots of the 225th Separate Assault Regiment struck the target in coordination with the 7th Air Assault Corps. The strike caused approximately 60 152 mm artillery shells to detonate. Pilots of the 414th Separate Unmanned Systems Brigade ‘Birds of Magyar’ provided objective confirmation of the strike," the statement said.
The ammunition truck was struck directly inside the shelter with a single FPV drone strike.
It was also noted that the mission was accomplished thanks to effective coordination among several Defence Forces units, from detecting and relaying the target to striking it and conducting follow-up reconnaissance.
