Russia strikes shopping centre in Zaporizhzhia: fire breaks out
On the evening of 22 September, the Russian occupation army attacked Zaporizhzhia. The strike sparked a fire at a shopping centre in the city’s Pivdennyi neighbourhood.
Acting Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration Mykhailo Semikin and Co-Chair of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Defence Council Ivan Fedorov reported this, Censor.NET says.

According to Fedorov, Russian forces struck a shopping centre, causing a fire.
"The enemy attacked Zaporizhzhia. A shopping centre was struck. The impact caused a fire. Information on casualties is being clarified," he wrote.
Mykhailo Semikin specified that the strike hit a shopping centre in the Pivdennyi neighbourhood.
Semikin reports on consequences of attack
According to Semikin, no information on casualties had been received at the time of his report.
"Another enemy strike on another shopping centre. This time in the Pivdennyi neighbourhood. No information on casualties has been received so far," he said.
Semikin added that the strike had destroyed food supplies and people’s jobs. He urged residents to remain calm and not ignore air-raid alerts.
It was previously reported that Russian occupiers had attacked Kyiv. Fuel storage tanks were struck in the Obolonskyi district. People were injured, with the number of wounded rising to eight.
