Explosions over Ufa
According to reports, local residents have reported hearing the sounds of explosions over Ufa. Local media outlets report that air defence systems are shooting down drones.
An oil refinery is likely on fire
An ASTRA OSINT analyst, having analysed an eyewitness photo, has established that smoke is visible in the area of the Ufa oil refinery. However, it cannot be ruled out that it may be linked to the thermal power station.
On the morning of 23 September, a ‘drone hazard’ alert was issued in the region. Restrictions on aircraft arrivals and departures were also imposed at Ufa Airport. The authorities have not yet officially announced an attack on the region.
