Russians have destroyed church in Kramatorsk: one person has been killed and others injured as result of strikes on city. VIDEO+PHOTOS
In Kramatorsk, in the Donetsk region, the Church of St John the Baptist suffered significant damage as a result of a Russian strike. During the attacks on the city on 22 September, one person was killed and two others were injured.
According to Censor.NET, volunteer Bohdan Zuyakov reported the damage to the church, and the information was also released by the Information and Education Department of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
It is reported that the walls, roof and dome of the church were seriously damaged as a result of the strike.
"The building’s metal frame was twisted by the blast wave, and the entire area is littered with debris," the UOC statement said.
Meanwhile, the National Police reported that on the morning of 22 September, Russian forces attacked Kramatorsk with four FAB-250 aerial bombs fitted with UMPK modules. The strikes were recorded in the old part of the city.
A 58-year-old man was killed as a result of the Russian strikes. A 53-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were injured.
