Drone operators from the Defense Forces intercepted and destroyed a Russian Gerbera reconnaissance UAV while conducting aerial reconnaissance of the enemy.
The Ukrainian pilots used a STING interceptor drone made by Wild Hornets to strike the airborne target, Censor.NET reports.
The Russian UAV was destroyed in the air after it was hit on the upper part of its body.
The soldiers also noted that a camera had been mounted on top of the Gerbera.
They said this could indicate that the enemy was trying to study Ukrainian interceptor drone tactics.
Wild Hornets shared footage of the Russian drone being shot down on their Telegram channel.
