Russians destroyed ’Kusum’ pharmaceutical factory in Sumy: one worker was killed

In Sumy, the "KUSUM" pharmaceutical factory was destroyed as a result of a Russian attack on 4 October. One of the company’s employees was killed.
The company announced this on 5 October, according to Censor.NET.

"An enemy strike has destroyed the production site of the pharmaceutical company KUSUM in Sumy," the statement reads.
As a result of the attack, a company employee, Yevhen Miroshnychenko, who had been working in the plant’s engineering department since 2009, was killed.
Plans are in place to ensure the supply of medicines to Ukraine
The press office added that the company is currently assessing the extent of the damage.
"In addition to its production facilities in Ukraine, the company has production facilities in India, in Indore and Bhiwadi. This will enable us, provided there are no artificial regulatory barriers, to restructure our processes and work towards ensuring an uninterrupted supply of medicines to Ukraine," the statement said.
