118 combat engagements recorded on frontline: enemy attacks most frequently in Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors – General Staff
A total of 118 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day.
This is according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s update as of 10:00 p.m., Censor.NET reports.
Enemy attacks
The enemy carried out 57 airstrikes, dropping 183 guided aerial bombs. It also used 6,014 kamikaze drones to conduct strikes and carried out 1,780 shelling attacks on settlements and our troops’ positions.
Situation in the north
In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, the occupiers have carried out three airstrikes using seven KABs and shelled our troops’ positions and settlements 41 times since the beginning of the day, including five attacks using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Fighting in the Kharkiv region
In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy attacked our units’ positions twice near Izbytske and Ternova.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy made five attempts to improve its positions, conducting assault operations towards Radkivka and Dovhenke.
Fighting in the east
Four attempts by the invaders to advance were repelled in the Lyman sector near Novoselivka, Zarichne and Derylove.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy conducted no assault operations.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Defence Forces stopped one attempt by the invaders to advance near Tykhonivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defence Forces repelled 16 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka and towards Popasne, Illinivka, Osykove, Raiske, Rusyn Yar, Vilne and Kucheriv Yar. Three of these attacks are still ongoing.
The enemy launched 15 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers attempted to advance towards Hannivka, Novyi Donbas, Dobropillia, Svitle, Novohryshyne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka and Novopavlivka. Four engagements are ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 40 occupiers were eliminated and 14 wounded here today. Four vehicles, an enemy electronic warfare system, nine pieces of specialised equipment, a UAV control post, an ammunition depot, two fuel and lubricant depots and one occupier shelter were destroyed. Three vehicles, a gun, two pieces of specialised equipment, 12 UAV control posts and 45 enemy personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 199 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy conducted no assault operations.
Situation in the south
- In the Huliaipole sector, the Defence Forces repelled five enemy attacks near Uspishne, Rizdvianka and Yehorivka. One assault is ongoing.
- In the Orikhiv sector, the occupiers attempted to improve their positions by launching one attack towards Pavlivka.
- In the Prydniprovskyi sector, the occupiers conducted no assault operations.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other sectors.
