From 3:00 p.m. until end of day, some regions will experience hourly power outages, - "Ukrenergo"

New power outages have occurred in four regions of Ukraine as a result of Russian strikes on energy infrastructure. Due to the consequences of the attacks, hourly power outages for consumers will be implemented in some regions from 3:00 p.m. until the end of the day.
This was reported by the "Ukrenergo" press service, according to Censor.NET.
Attacks on the energy sector
"As a result of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure facilities, there are new power outages as of this morning in the Kharkiv, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Emergency repair work is already underway wherever current security conditions allow," the statement reads.
Power outages
"Ukrenergo" noted that, as a result of Russian attacks, power restriction schedules for industry and hourly power outage schedules (up to stage 1) for all categories of consumers will be implemented in certain regions from 3:00 p.m. until the end of the day.
Consumption
"Electricity consumption has increased. Today, October 6, as of 9:30 a.m., it was 2.9% higher than at the same time the previous day—Monday.
The reason for the change is cloudy weather across much of Ukraine. This results in low efficiency of residential solar power plants and a corresponding increase in energy consumption from the main grid," the company noted.
