According to estimates by the Russian Ministry of Finance, fines totalling 389 billion roubles are expected to be paid into the budget in 2026 alone — 30 per cent more than originally planned.
In 2027, the plan is to collect 396.9 billion, in 2028 — 446.7 billion, and in 2029 — as much as 464 billion roubles.
"In fact, the occupiers’ budget is increasingly reliant on money raised through fines imposed on the population and businesses," the movement reports.
As a reminder, we previously reported that Russia has planned a record military budget for next year of 17.1 trillion roubles, which amounts to over 205 billion dollars and is 40 per cent higher than this year’s figure.
