172 combat engagements on frontline: enemy attacks most actively in Pokrovsk sector – General Staff
A total of 172 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day.
This is stated in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s report as of 10:00 a.m., according to Censor.NET.
Enemy strikes
The enemy carried out 62 airstrikes and dropped 190 guided aerial bombs. It also deployed 5,898 kamikaze drones to strike targets and conducted 1,532 shelling attacks on settlements and our troops’ positions.
Situation in the north
No enemy offensive activity was recorded in the Northern Slobozhanskyi sector.
Fighting in Kharkiv region
- During the day, the enemy assaulted our units’ positions eight times in the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector near Starytsia, Izbytske, Zakharivka, Mala Vovcha and Varvarivka; one more engagement is still ongoing.
- In the Kupiansk sector, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy assault near Kivsharivka.
Fighting in the east
In the Lyman sector, our defenders successfully repelled four attempts by the invaders to advance near Novoselivka and Lyman.
Two enemy assaults were recorded in the Kramatorsk sector near Minkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defense Forces repelled 12 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka, Mykolaipillia and Osykove; one more engagement is ongoing.
A total of 23 attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers attempted to advance near the settlements of Vilne, Bilytske, Vodianske, Dobropillia, Novohryshyne, Serhiivka and Molodetske. One attack is ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 47 occupiers were eliminated and 15 wounded here today. Fifteen vehicles, one artillery system, one piece of special equipment, two UAV control posts, one ammunition depot, and 41 enemy shelters were destroyed. Five vehicles, four pieces of special equipment, five UAV control posts and 155 enemy shelters were damaged. A total of 196 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
Situation in the south
- Eleven attacks by the occupiers were recorded in the Huliaipole sector near the settlements of Rybne, Vozdvyzhivka, Dolynka, Rivne, Kopani, Yehorivka, Novoselivka and Charivne.
- In the Orikhiv sector, our defenders repelled one enemy attack near Plavni.
The enemy conducted no offensive operations in the Sloviansk, Oleksandrivka and Prydniprovskyi sectors.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other sectors.
