Two people have been killed in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv following a Russian attack. A fire broke out in a high-rise block, causing partial structural damage.

According to Censor.NET, this has been reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

According to the State Emergency Service, the Russian strike on the high-rise building caused a fire and partial structural damage at the 10th-floor level.

Whilst working at the scene of the attack, firefighters discovered the bodies of two people in one of the damaged flats.

Rescue workers were clearing up the aftermath of the Russian strike and continuing their work in the damaged building.

What led up to this?

On the evening of 7 October, Russian troops attacked Kyiv, damaging residential buildings and causing fires.
