The building housing the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio was damaged as a result of a Russian strike on the night of 7 October.

The film studio reported this on social media, according to Censor.NET.

Details

"Another difficult night and a morning of bad news. The three-pavilion building was hit by a massive missile attack. There are no fatalities at present. The State Emergency Service, the police and the emergency medical services are working at the scene," the statement reads.

Massive shelling on 7 October 2026

• As reported, the enemy attacked Ukraine with missiles.
• Russian forces struck Kyiv with ballistic missiles: two dead, a warehouse and a garage cooperative damaged.
• A strike on a residential area in the Poltava region was recorded: high-rise blocks were damaged.
• One person was killed in the Kirovohrad region as a result of a Russian strike.
• Russia struck a high-rise block in Pryluky, Chernihiv region. There are fatalities and injuries.
