On the morning of 7 October 2026, Russian forces are launching cruise missile strikes against Ukrainian territory.

This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the Air Force Command’s press centre.

Six Tu-95MS aircraft took off from Olenegorsk

According to the Air Force, the takeoff of six Tu-95 aircraft from the Olenegorsk airfield was recorded around 3:00 a.m.!

"If cruise missiles are launched, they are expected to enter Ukrainian airspace approximately after 6:00 a.m.," the report stated.

Subsequently, reports of the launches were confirmed.

Enemy targets

As noted, the greatest threat currently lies with the Poltava region, particularly Kremenchuk.

"A cruise missile in the west of the Kharkiv region, heading for the Poltava region," the Air Force reports.

Monitoring channels report that the missiles are heading for Kremenchuk.

"Towards Kremenchuk," the Air Force later confirmed.

No further information regarding the enemy attack is available at this time.

In addition, there is a threat to the Kirovohrad region, particularly Oleksandriia.

"Cruise missiles in the north of the Kirovohrad region, heading southwest," the Air Force later clarified.

"Cruise missiles in the north of the Poltava region, heading toward the Chernihiv region," the Air Force reported at 6:42 a.m.
