Plant producing rocket fuel components has been attacked in Tver Region. VIDEO

On the night of 9 October, the Redkino Research Plant in the village of Redkino, Tver Oblast, Russia, came under attack. The plant manufactures specialised chemical products, including fuel components for the Kh-55 and Kh-101 cruise missiles.

This was reported by Censor.NET, citing Russian Telegram channels and the monitoring resource Exilenova+.

What is known about the plant

The Redkinsky Research Plant is involved in the production of specialised chemical products for Russian industry. In particular, the plant produces components for ‘Decilin-M’ fuel, which, according to available data, are used in the production of fuel for the Kh-55 and Kh-101 cruise missiles.

The plant also manufactures additives for diesel fuel and aviation kerosene.

The plant is therefore part of the Russian military-industrial complex’s production chain and supplies chemical components to the Russian Federation’s missile and aviation sectors.
