Due to an attack on energy facilities in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, part of the region was left without power.

This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the press office of the Ministry of Energy.

Information from the power companies

"As soon as safety conditions permit, crews will promptly begin restoring power. Utility workers are doing everything possible to restore power as quickly as possible," the statement said.

According to DTEK, there are new widespread power outages in Kyiv due to shelling.

The stabilization schedules are currently not in effect.

What led up to this?

Earlier, there were reports of an emergency power outage in Pivdenna Borshchahivka due to an attack by the Russian Federation.
Train service on the Kyiv Metro has been suspended due to a power outage. Public transportation is not running in several districts.
According to Klitschko, the situation regarding Kyiv's energy supply has worsened. There are interruptions in the water supply.
