Defense Forces strike "Samara" oil pumping station in Russia again: destruction of 4 tanks confirmed – General Staff

On the night of October 10, Ukrainian units struck the "Samara" oil terminal—a major facility for receiving, storing, and blending oil—for a second time.
According to Censor.NET, the General Staff reports this.
"The extent of the damage is being determined," the statement said.
The General Staff also noted that the destruction of four RVS-50000 tanks on October 7, 2026, and a large-scale fire at the Samara Oil Storage Depot have been confirmed.
"Striking such targets is Ukraine's exercise of its inalienable right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter and is aimed at reducing the military and economic capabilities of the Russian Federation," the General Staff emphasized.
Samara Regional State Administration: What Is Known?
The "Samara" Long-Distance Oil Pipeline System is a large-scale oil pipeline complex located near the village of Prosvet in the Samara Region of Russia.
It is part of the Transneft PJSC system and is operated by Transneft—Privolga JSC.
The production site comprises the "Samara-1" and "Samara-2" oil pumping stations, an oil blending station, a tank farm, and the supporting infrastructure of the Samara Regional Oil Pipeline Administration.
The facility is one of the largest hubs in the Russian system of main oil pipelines. The station handles the receipt, storage, transfer, and blending of crude oil with various physical and chemical characteristics. The crude oil is delivered via main oil pipelines from Tatarstan, Western Siberia, and other oil-producing regions of Russia.
After blending, the resulting streams are routed, in particular, toward Novorossiysk, to the "Druzhba" pipeline system, as well as to oil refineries in Novokuybyshevsk, Saratov, and Volgograd.
The company is also involved in meeting the needs of the Russian Armed Forces.
