Enemy spotter detained who directed strikes against defence plants and volunteer centres in Dnipropetrovsk region – SSU. PHOTO
The Security Service’s counter-intelligence unit has detained another Russian female agent in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The suspect was coordinating Russian missile and drone attacks on defence enterprises and civil society organisations that supply equipment to Ukrainian defenders.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the SSU press centre.
The investigation revealed that the spotter had military and volunteer facilities in Dnipro and the region "in her sights".
SSU officers exposed the suspect, documented her work for the enemy and detained her at her place of residence.
What is known about the traitor?
It has been established that the recruit is a resident of the Donetsk region who moved to the Dnipropetrovsk region in September 2025. The woman came to the attention of the Russians through her acquaintances from the temporarily occupied territory in eastern Ukraine.
After being recruited, the suspect travelled around the area on foot or by public transport to take photographs and videos of sites which, in her opinion, could be used for frontline purposes.
At the same time, she documented the aftermath of previous shelling in the region for a subsequent ‘report’ to her handlers in the Russian Federation.
During searches of the detainee’s premises, a smartphone containing evidence of her work for the enemy was seized.
Charges
Investigators from the Security Service informed the agent that she was suspected of an offence under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The suspect is being held in custody without the right to bail. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
Comprehensive measures were carried out by officers of the SSU’s Main Directorate in the Dnipropetrovsk region under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor’s office.
