Biletskyi on new phase of Operation ’Vivaldi’: Ukraine has regained further 101 km² of territory, whilst Russia has lost 3,000 soldiers. VIDEO
The Third Army Corps and attached units have liberated three more settlements – Zelena Dolyna, Lypove and Kolodiazi.
This was announced in a statement by Brigadier General Andrii Biletskyi, according to Censor.NET.
Thwarting the enemy’s plans and defending the Kharkiv–Sloviansk road
It is reported that during the fourth phase of ‘Vivaldi’ , the enemy lost around 3,000 soldiers, whilst Ukraine regained 101 km² of territory.
The operation, which began with the elimination of Russian infiltration, escalated into a rapid and large-scale offensive. The disoriented occupiers began to lose control of their units, where utter chaos ensued.
"We prevented the enemy from outflanking the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration and encircling it, and we also defended the Kharkiv–Sloviansk road. The enemy was unable to cut off our group’s key logistical artery in the Donbas. We thwarted the offensive by the ‘West’ group and forced it to redeploy part of the 1st Tank Army’s units, which eased the pressure on Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi," Biletskyi stated.
