Ukraine’s DELTA has confirmed its compatibility with NATO combat systems during REPMUS 2026 naval exercises

Ukraine’s DELTA passed tests during NATO exercises

During the REPMUS 2026 international exercises, Ukrainian military personnel practised naval operations using the DELTA combat system. All assets transmitting data in accordance with NATO standards – aerial, surface and underwater unmanned systems, as well as radars – were successfully integrated into the system.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defence’s press office, according to Censor.NET.

This has once again confirmed DELTA’s interoperability with Alliance systems and brought the standardisation of Ukrainian solutions a step closer.

Rehearsal of maritime operations at REPMUS 2026

REPMUS (Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping with Maritime Unmanned Systems) is an annual NATO exercise led by the Portuguese Navy. This year, Ukraine participated in REPMUS for the third time.

During the exercises, partners and allies practise the joint deployment of unmanned maritime, aerial and underwater systems, and test their interoperability within multinational forces. This is the largest international event dedicated to practising the use of unmanned systems in maritime operations.

The Ukrainian team, comprising military personnel from various branches and services, coordinated its actions via the DELTA combat system.

At REPMUS 2026, Ukrainian specialists, together with their allies, practised:

  • reconnaissance;
  • monitoring of the water area;
  • manoeuvring;
  • exercises involving support and the simulation of casualties.

During the exercises, Ukrainian military personnel also shared their combat experience with their partners, in particular regarding the use of unmanned systems in the maritime domain.

DELTA test results and compatibility with NATO standards

All devices transmitting telemetry in accordance with the NATO STANAG 4817 standard have been successfully integrated into the DELTA system.

Last year, DELTA served as the primary platform for managing and controlling operations at REPMUS 2025. At that time, the system integrated over 100 unmanned systems from various domains.

Following this year’s exercises, the Ukrainian team noted that DELTA operated without a hitch even under unstable connectivity conditions, and also highlighted the convenience of streaming via the Vezha module compared to other platforms.

Ukraine will continue to share its combat experience in the use of unmanned systems and to develop interoperability with the forces of NATO member states.

The Ministry of Defence had previously reported that the DELTA combat system records more than 6,600 enemy targets hit every day.
