222 combat engagements on front line: enemy launches 29 attacks in Pokrovsk sector – General Staff
A total of 222 combat engagements have taken place since the start of the day.
This is stated in the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff’s update as of 10 p.m., Censor.NET reports.
Enemy attacks
The enemy carried out one missile strike and 58 airstrikes, dropping 190 guided aerial bombs. It also deployed 5,221 kamikaze drones and conducted 1,736 attacks on settlements and Ukrainian troop positions.
Situation in the north
In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk sectors, the occupiers have conducted two assaults since the start of the day, carried out one airstrike using one KAB, and shelled Ukrainian troop positions and settlements 44 times, including twice with multiple launch rocket systems.
Fighting in Kharkiv region
- In the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 10 times near Izbytske, Ternova, Okhrimivka and Chuhunivka, and towards Zakharivka, Chorne and Mala Vovcha. Five of these assaults are still ongoing.
- In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attempted to improve its positions 15 times, conducting assaults towards Radkivka.
Fighting in the east
Ukrainian forces fought off five attempts by the invaders to advance towards Lyman and near Masliakivka in the Lyman sector.
In the Sloviansk sector, the Defence Forces stopped two attempts by the invaders to advance near Kryva Luka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy conducted no assaults.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Defence Forces fought off 19 enemy assaults near Kostiantynivka and towards Novoselivka, Mykolaipillia, Novopavlivka, Toretske, Hruzke, Vilne and Molodetske. One engagement is ongoing.
The enemy launched 29 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers attempted to advance near Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Chernihivka, Svitle, Dobropillia, Novohryshyne, Hulive, Serhiivka, Myrne, Molodetske, Muravka and Novopavlivka.
According to preliminary estimates, 68 occupiers were eliminated and 14 wounded in this sector today. Eleven vehicles, four pieces of specialised equipment and three shelters were destroyed. Two vehicles, an artillery gun, a UAV control post and 37 enemy personnel shelters were damaged. A total of 164 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy launched one assault towards Berezove.
Situation in the south
- In the Huliaipole sector, the Defence Forces repelled 13 enemy attacks near Rybne, Ternuvate, Rivne, Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Verkhnia Tersa, Novoselivka and Omelnyk.
- In the Orikhiv sector, the occupiers attempted to improve their positions, attacking four times towards Pavlivka and Stepnohirsk.
- In the Prydniprovske sector, the occupiers conducted no assaults.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other sectors.
