Over 300 clashes took place on front line over past 24 hours. Heaviest fighting is in Pokrovsk sector, - General Staff
Over the past 24 hours, 304 combat engagements were recorded across all sectors of the front. In the Pokrovsk sector, the Russians launched 60 attacks; in the Kostiantynivka sector, 27; and in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the Defence Forces repelled 22 attacks.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 83 air strikes, during which 271 guided bombs were dropped. In addition, the invaders deployed 7,059 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,551 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, 76 of which involved the use of multiple launch rocket systems.
The following settlements, in particular, came under enemy fire:
- Korenok, Nova Sich, Bachivsk, Tovstodubove, Sopych, Rohizne, Ivolzhanske, Mala Korchakivka, Pysarivka, Yunakivka, Khrapivshchyna, Volfyne, Bezsalivka, Sukhodil, Ulanove, Zapsillia, Kindrativka, Hirky, Kozache, Seredyna-Buda, Mohrytsia, Brusky, Khotin, Rudenka, Neskuchne, Iskryskivshchyna, Yastrubshchyna, Luzhky in the Sumy region;
- Yanzhulivka in Chernihiv Oblast.
The settlement of Vilna Sloboda was hit by an air strike.
Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces’ air force struck an area where enemy personnel were concentrated.
Combat operations
In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors over the past day, the aggressor carried out one air strike using three KAB bombs and carried out 64 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas.
In the the Southern Slobozhanskyi sector Ukrainian units repelled 22 enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to attack in the areas around the settlements of Starytsia, Izbytske and Chuhunivka, and in the direction of the settlements of Buzove and Radkivka.
In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attempted three times to improve its positions, launching assaults towards Novoosynove and Shyikivka.
Attempts to breach our defences were repelled in the Lyman sector, where the occupiers launched eight attacks towards the settlements of Novoiegorivka, Olhivka, Druzheliubivka, Lyman and Staryi Karavan.
In the Sloviansk sector, the enemy carried out two attacks towards the settlements of Orikhuvatka and Mykolaivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the Defence Forces halted three attempts by the invaders to advance in the Chervonyi area and towards Yurkivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, 27 attacks were recorded. The invaders carried out offensive operations in the areas around the settlements of Kostiantynivka and Dovha Balka, and towards the settlements of Rozkishne, Mykolaipillia and Raiske.
The enemy carried out sixty attacks on the Pokrovsk sector. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas around the settlements of Dorozhne and Molodetske, and towards the settlements of Toretske, Pavlivka, Novopavlivka, Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Hannivka, Dobropillia, Svitle, Krasnopodillia, Serhiivka and Muravka.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy did not carry out any assault operations.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers attacked our defenders’ positions 20 times. The enemy attempted to advance towards the settlements of Rizdvianka, Dolynka, Hirke and Yehorivka.
In the Orikhiv sector, the enemy attempted to attack in the direction of Pavlivka on two occasions.
In the Prydniprovsk sector, the occupiers did not carry out any assault operations.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of the enemy forming offensive groups have been detected.
