The heating season begins on October 16 in Kyiv.

"Starting today, October 16, despite the extreme conditions caused by constant shelling, we are beginning the heating season. As usual, we are starting with social service facilities (including hospitals, schools, and preschools)," the mayor said.
However, the heating season will not begin at this time in certain parts of the Dnipro and Darnytsia districts, where an energy facility recently sustained significant damage.
Restoration work is ongoing there.
"Social service facilities will be connected to the heating system based on individual requests from their directors," Klitschko added.
