EU is trying to convince US to increase pressure on Russia, - Kallas
The European Union is trying to persuade the United States to increase pressure on Russia in order to end the war and prevent further acts of aggression.
EU High Representative Kaja Kallas stated this on the sidelines of the EU leaders' summit, according to Censor.NET, citing the European Parliament.

"We are trying to convince our American partners that if we want to end this war, we must increase the pressure on the aggressor.
"Because it's not just about ending this war, but also about ensuring that Russia will no longer start new wars," she said.
Kallas said that, together with the EU foreign ministers, she had prepared "a list of demands—a list of European security concerns—that we must also present to Russia, rather than simply giving Russia everything it wants without receiving certain concessions from the Russian side in return."
"But, of course, you can see that it's very complicated with our American allies," she noted.
Callas also stated that the EU had agreed not to return the frozen assets until Russia pays reparations to Ukraine.
"Ukraine needs this money right now. That is why we need to work on solidarity mechanisms to share the risks among member states so that we can truly help Ukraine," she added.
