Putin will choose peace only when the United States increases pressure on Russia and makes it clear that Russia will no longer receive money for the war.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an address to participants in the European Council meeting, Censor.NET reports.

Zelenskyy thanked everyone working to preserve unity between Europe and the United States.
"There are so many kind-hearted people in America who sincerely want evil to be defeated and Ukraine to stand firm. It was hearts like these that helped Europe defend its freedom, people like these who fought on D-Day, won the Cold War, and want the best for Europe.
These are the hearts of people who want to be allies, rather than divide or humiliate Europe. I believe most Americans still think this way. And ultimately, the American people will have their say," the president stressed.
According to the head of state, Putin will listen to the US if America really steps up the pressure on him.
"And makes one thing clear: either he chooses peace, or he no longer receives money for his war," he added.
