Heating supply to Kyiv’s residential buildings to begin on November 2 – Klitschko

Heating will begin to be supplied to residential buildings in Kyiv on November 2. Almost half of the city’s social infrastructure facilities have already had their heating switched on.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko announced this, Censor.NET reports.
Details
"We were the first in Ukraine to start the heating season on October 16, initially for social infrastructure facilities. Following requests from their managers, almost 50% of these facilities have already had their heating switched on. These include 157 healthcare facilities, 402 kindergartens and 85 schools," the mayor said.
Meanwhile, heating will begin to be supplied to residential buildings on Monday, November 2.
"It takes up to a week to start up Kyiv’s district heating system, which is one of the largest in Europe (with a heating network stretching around 3,000 km).
That is why the capital decided to start the heating season for residential buildings several days before a sharp drop in temperatures," Klitschko explained.
