Air defense shot down and suppressed 105 Russian drones overnight, including 49 jet-powered ones — Air Force
On the night of October 31, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 134 strike drones of various types, including Shahed, "Gerbera," and "Parody" decoy drones.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
Drone launches have been recorded:
- Orel, Kursk, Shatalovo, Millerovo—Russian Federation;
- TOT Donetsk;
- TOT AR Crimea – Gvardeyskoye.
Air Defense Operations
The air attack was repelled by the air force, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., air defense forces shot down or neutralized 105 enemy UAVs, including Shahed-type UAVs (49 of which were jet-powered), Gerber UAVs, and other types of drones.
Consequences of the attack
Strike drones were recorded hitting 20 locations. Debris from downed drones was also recorded at 10 additional locations.
Several enemy drones remained in the air, and combat operations continued.
