Russian Federation launched 1,940 drones, over 1,580 guided aerial bombs, and 44 missiles at Ukraine over past week, - Zelenskyy

Throughout the week, Russian occupiers continued to launch attacks on Ukraine using drones, guided bombs, and missiles.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this, according to Censor.NET.
New enemy attacks
According to the president, just last night, the energy infrastructure in four regions—Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, and Khmelnytskyi—was targeted by Russian attacks.
Russian occupiers attacked substations, transformers, and power lines that supply electricity to residential buildings.
Zelenskyy noted that repair crews are working everywhere. As of now, hundreds of thousands of families remain without electricity.
Attacks over the past week
In addition, massive Russian attacks on Ukraine’s other critical infrastructure continue unabated.
"This week, Russia launched 1,940 attack drones, more than 1,580 cruise missiles, and 44 missiles of various types at Ukraine, 36 of which were ballistic missiles. The intensity of the strikes is very high, and the Russians are trying to take full advantage of the shortage of ballistic missile interceptors," the president said.
The Need for Missiles for the Patriot System
Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine communicates daily with the United States, Europe, and other partners who can help regarding its need for Patriot missiles.
"This month, the U.S. and European countries announced new decisions regarding additional aid packages for Ukraine. But these deliveries cannot wait years. Russia is destroying our infrastructure and killing our people right now, and is counting on ballistic missiles this winter. Accordingly, decisions regarding air defense must be implemented now. Thank you to everyone who supports the defense of Ukraine’s skies," he added.
