The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has confirmed a successful strike by the Defence Forces on the Kamensky plant in the Rostov Oblast of the Russian Federation.
He announced this on his Telegram channel, according to Censor.NET.
Strike on a Russian defence industry facility in the Rostov region
"Our long-range sanctions have hit the Rostov region. The Kamensky plant – a Russian defence industry facility involved in missile production – has been struck," the head of state said.
Destruction of enemy air defence systems worth $70 million
According to him, a "Pantsir-S2" system and a command and control vehicle belonging to the S-400 "Triumph" system were also struck. The total value of the air defence assets destroyed is approximately 70 million dollars.
"I thank the SBU soldiers and other components of the Defence Forces for their accuracy! We are justifiably defending ourselves against Russian aggression and are doing everything we can to reduce Russia’s ability to continue it," said Zelenskyy.
