A person was struck by a subway train in Kyiv

On the afternoon of November 2, there were again disruptions in the operation of the capital’s metro system. Service has now been restored.

This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the Kyiv City State Administration’s press centre.

How is the subway running right now?

As noted, trains on the "green" line have temporarily suspended service due to significant voltage fluctuations from external power sources.

Further updates on the resumption of service will be provided.

What led up to this?

It was previously reported that public transportation had come to a halt in several districts of Kyiv due to a power shortage, and there were changes to the subway schedule.

Update

A few minutes later, the Kyiv City State Administration reported that subway trains on the "green" line had resumed service.

"The subway is operating as usual," the statement said.
