The city of Ladyzhyn in Vinnytsia region is switching to alternative heating sources following a Russian missile attack. Parts of the city are also without electricity and water.
Oleksandr Kolomiiets, secretary of the Ladyzhyn City Council, reported this, according to Censor.NET.
"We are beginning a gradual transition to alternative heating sources for the city," he wrote.
According to Kolomiiets, part of Ladyzhyn currently has no electricity or water supply. The relevant municipal services are already working to deal with the aftermath of the Russian attack and restore vital services.
There have been no reports of casualties from the strike.
Consequences of Russia’s attack on energy infrastructure
Russian forces launched a massive attack on Ukraine overnight on November 3, targeting energy infrastructure facilities among other sites. The strikes caused power supply disruptions in several regions.
In Ladyzhyn, local authorities began switching to alternative heating sources to provide heating for the city after infrastructure was damaged.
