Senior SSU official is brandishing weapon and obstructing search, - NABU
A senior SSU official is threatening to use a weapon and is obstructing a search.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing the NABU press office.
Obstruction of NABU searches
As noted, whilst NABU detectives were carrying out lawful investigative actions pursuant to a ruling by an investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court, one of the senior SSU officials threatened to use a firearm and prevented the detectives from entering the premises where the search was taking place.
SSU special forces have arrived
In addition, SSU special forces arrived at the search site.
"Such actions are unacceptable and obstruct the performance of NABU detectives’ lawful procedural duties," the statement reads.
NABU promises to provide further details at a later date.
