Russia's FSB claims apprehension of "Ukrainian saboteurs" in Crimea
The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation has announced the capture of yet another "subversive" group.
Censor.NET reports referring to the FSB official website.
"On Nov. 9, 2016, the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation detained in Sevastopol members of a subversive terrorist group of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, who planned to commit acts of sabotage at Crimea's military and life supporting facilities," the report reads.
As noted, the FSB seized powerful explosive devices, weapons and ammunition, special means of communication and other evidence of detainees' criminal activities, including maps with supposed targets.
Earlier, on August 10, the Federal Security Service issued a formal statement about the alleged prevention of a series of terrorist attacks in occupied Crimea plotted by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry and aimed at destroying critical infrastructure and life supporting facilities on the peninsula.
The FSB released a video showing alleged organizer of the thwarted "terrorist acts" Yevhen Panov, a resident of Ukraine's Zaporizhia region.
