Kharkiv officer Serhii Petrishchev dies in ATO zone
A farewell ceremony for the warrior will be held on Jan. 6.

Serhii Petrishchev, 45, came from Lozova town in Ukraine's eastern Kharkiv region and served in the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. He died on Jan. 2 in the vicinity of Marinka in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area.
"We bow our heads before our countryman who defended Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity," Lozova City Council said in an online statement.

A farewell and honoring ceremony for the soldier will take place tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the 3rd mikroraion (residential complex) near the house number 27 and at noon at the Lozova central cemetery.
